Within me there is an intrinsic passion for
the rejected, the overlooked, the dismissed, the left behind, the scarred, the imperfect,
because through the lens of grace, there rests the opportunity for
redemption, worth, healing, promise, hope, provision,
We are taking the discarded
…and creating something new. By researching, developing, and licensing marketable uses for lost farm crops, we are Helping Farms Help the World. We are Growers for Grace.
Join our remarkable journey in sustainability & salvation in fresh produce.
From waste to grace, loss becomes life.
In the U.S., 40% of food is lost or wasted annually costing an estimated $218 billion or 1.3% of GDP based on EPA data. Food accounts for 21% of solid waste to US landfills. USDA estimates the value of food loss and waste for growers, retailers and consumers is over $161 billion annually. In addition, food waste consumes 21% of all fresh water globally. The seasonal losses of fresh produce to waste are unsustainable to growers and has caused significant economic strain to growers of all sizes and crop types within the specialty crop category.
Growers for Grace PBC (Public Benefit Corporation) was founded to research, develop and license marketable uses for farm crops traditionally discarded as waste. Our goal is zero waste while at the same time making an incremental improvement in stewardship with a meaningful impact in consumer and environmental product development. Growers for Grace PBC will utilize fresh produce secondary streams to discover sustainable solutions in human health, animal health, and soil health application creating upcycling from farm to consumer markets with 100% utilization of natural side-streams.
Now may the God of peace –
who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus,
the great Shepherd of the sheep,
and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—
may he equip you with all you need
for doing his will.
May he produce in you,
through the power of Jesus Christ,
every good thing that is pleasing to him.
All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
There is an urgent need to help growers have utilization of crop loss and waste through upcycling and effective use of side streams
We have a unique opening in U.S. domestic phyto-active compound extraction, directly insulating resilience from global supply chain disruptions in active ingredients and life-saving compounds
Our goal at Growers for Grace is to be a mighty defender and advocate of intrinsic, God-designed worth. We believe there is divine purpose and calling in each of us along with everything in nature. We believe both are designed to work in beautiful, harmonizing, and healing concert. “Then God looked over all He had made, and He saw that is was very good!” Genesis 1:31 Grace is the greatest love story and case study in upcycling of all time. We look forward to sharing with the world through Growers for Grace, the beauty and healing capacities of Creation. We look forward to helping farms, help the world and accomplishing feats of climbing one thousand Mount Everests—shattering human conception of what is possible. We look forward to sharing by our actions and not just our words, lasting portraits of hope, compassion, empathy, promise, purpose, redemption, healing, salvation and worth in everything God so wonderfully created.
Better a little with righteousness
than much gain with injustice.
Proverbs 16:8 (NIV)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
Plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advisers they succeed.
Proverbs 12:22 (NIV)
We believe in ethical business practices with an overall mission of serving a vital purpose of healing out of our love for one another with responsible stewardship of our natural resources and intellectual blessings. Our work would not be possible without the Lord as our guide, and amelioration of our mission by our partnerships.
